Regional DX Hackathon — Final Presentations and Award Ceremony on March 21

From March 7 to 21, 2026, we ran the "Regional Enterprise DX Hackathon" — a hands-on event centered on real challenges from local businesses in Kumamoto. Asmirai served as a core member of the organizing team, supporting participants from ideation through design and implementation, and fostering deep learning between participants.

Event Overview

• Dates: March 7 (Sat) – March 21 (Sat), 2026

• Format: Engineers (3-day participation) / Companies (day 1 & final day) / Presentation viewing & networking (final day)

Purpose

The hackathon aimed to let participants experience the first step of real-world implementation — facing real local business challenges and carrying ideas through to design and implementation in one go.

Rather than stopping at theory, we prioritized creating an environment where participants could deepen their understanding of AI and emerging tech trends by getting their hands dirty — at their own pace, from beginner to experienced.

Our Organizing Approach

As part of the organizing team, Asmirai ensured every participant could go from idea to prototype to final presentation.

Concretely, we supported team building, articulating value from identified challenges, technology selection, and production pacing — maintaining an atmosphere where everyone felt a sense of forward momentum.

Highlights from the Final Day

On the final day, teams delivered 7-minute presentations followed by 3 minutes of Q&A. After a judging session, the award ceremony was held.

The experience of shaping ideas from real challenges, building them into something tangible, and communicating through words and demos — we believe this became a meaningful next step for every participant.
